Club Notes 

U8’s

Our under 8’s welcomed Letterkenny Gaels to Lifford on Friday evening for their first blitz of the year. There was some great football on display. Well done to all the boys and girls from both clubs.

U8’s train on Friday evenings from 6.00pm-7.00pm. New players are always welcome.

U10’s

Our U10’s took part in the cross-border Ulster GAA Silent Sidelines Go Games Blitz on Saturday morning. This blitz was hosted by Urney St. Columba’s GAC with teams from Owen Roes and Naomh Eoghan taking part also. 

There was lots of fine football on display from all teams with very little coaching from the sidelines. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part. 

Thanks to Urney for hosting this very well-run tournament.

Our u10’s train on Saturday mornings from 9.30am-10.30am. New players are always welcome. 

Gaelic for Mothers & Others

Our G4MO team welcomed Glenswilly G4MO to Lifford on Wednesday evening for our first match of the year. This was a great game played in good spirits by both sides.

G4MO is for women over the age of 25 who are not playing competitive football. No playing experience necessary. It’s a great way to meet new people, exercise and most importantly to have a bit of fun. Our G4MO train on Monday evenings from 7.30pm-8.30pm. New players always welcome. 

Senior Men

Our Senior Men were beat by St. Marys Convoy on Saturday evening. The next match is a challenge match at home to Sean Dolans at 7.00pm this Friday. 

Club Volunteers

The club needs Volunteers to help on home match days. We need people for umpire, to do the line, to do the shop, to do the gate and to help with making tea after. Ideally if there were enough people to help this could be done on a rota so it can be spread out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If interested, please contact Gary Bogle on 0868625358.

Club Lotto

Our lotto takes place on Monday Evenings (Tuesday evenings if there is a Bank Holiday) There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot (€7250)

Two people matched 3 numbers sharing €100. Well done to Marty McHugh and Niall McGhee. 

Our Jackpot this week is €7300. 

Tickets can be bought in Gallaghers Newsagents & Foodstore, Old Daly's Supermarket, Filling Station & Diner ,  Lifford Credit Union or any committee member.
